There's a great new book out called "Punks In Peoria-Making A Scene In The American Heartland" by Jonathan Wright and Dawson Barrett (from University Of Illinois Press). It's a detailed chronicle of the history of the alternative music scene not only in Peoria, but for all of the Anytown, USA's out there.
My brothers and I are featured pretty heavily in the first part of the book. You can read a great excerpt from it here. There is also a companion album featuring many of the bands from the book available here. In celebration of these releases, the authors put on a music fest in Peoria with many of the old bands reforming. So, me and my brothers reunited our old band E.C.A. to play the fest. I posted the live footage from that show on the E.C.A. page. In other news, I'm very nearly finished with the new album. Just a couple of random tracks to add and then mixing, so it should be up soon. Stay tuned! Below is a pic of E.C.A., circa 2021, rehearsing for the Punks In Peoria Fest in, where else, my parents basement. My mom didn't like the bass drum. It was a loaner kit from a friend....
