THE OUTBREAKS

THE OUTBREAKS was a band that I had in my late teens, end of high school era,
This was like '85-'86 punk, when we first started to learn how to actually play. I was still in Peoria at this time, and some of these guys are from Bloomington, Il.
It's an interesting study. We have a firm grasp on the 1-4-5 chord progression and it's offshoots here. We have a rudimentary idea of passing tones, etc. The songs actually have some melody. There's some highlights, and some cringes. This is from the original cassette master, which I haven't heard in 25 years at least.

This is from a rehearsal, where you can listen to us trying to work out a new tune.

This is the end result of working on that song, from the final demo.

This is the whole OUTBREAKS demo in it's entirety.
